Food was fabulous and people are super friendly and nice. One of the staff (or owner) introduced us an amazing freshly-made chive shrimp cake. The indoor atmosphere reminds me of the dim sum places in the old days. It's located close to the Chinatown train station, which is convenient for people who travel by public transportation. Please go if you're hungry and nearby. less

Came in at 3pm and got seated almost immediately somehow (this place is usually packed) You order via phone by scanning the menu and food comes out within 5-10 minutes. Waiters don't pay that much attention to you, unless you waive them down. I would give a rating for every individual item, but I feel like it's a waste of time when almost everything I had was a SOLID 9 or 10. Just get anything on the dim sum menu, can't go wrong. less

Jade Garden has definitely made a come back. All the dim sum I ordered was hot and fresh and delicious. The flavors tasted unique and different for each item. I felt that the service had significantly improved since the last time I was here (easily 3-4 years ago) while still having the great family style vibe inside. I enjoyed ordering via my phone. There seems to be no more carts but honestly I think that was a great change. Keep up the good work yall it shows. less

Excellent dim sum restaurant in the International District! We tried a lot of different things and there were plenty of seafood options. Favorites were the pan-fried shrimp and chive, the honey walnut shrimp and the sesame balls. I could have passed on the spring roll and the stuffed eggplant--glad we tried them but probably won't order that next time. Definitely will be back! less

I was in Seattle for the weekend and asked friends where the best place to get Chinese food? The consensus of all five was to go try Jade Garden in the international district. Walking up to the restaurant you can sometimes tell a lot of the place, the awning outside was old and torn and fading. Walked in and greeted right away and taken to my table without waiting and the restaurant was full. This is the second restaurant that I have been where you scan the QR code, browse the menu and order on the web site. I ordered the sesame chicken with rice. One of the servers was walking around with a tray full of appetizers, he stopped and I got the plate of pork bun. The pork bun was so good and sweet, amazing texture of the bun and the pork was seasoned just right. The sesame chicken was very good, not drowning in the sauce that is served with it. The rice was actually so good! Probably the best rice I have ever tasted, not kidding! I'd come back again and have another meal. Now the bad things, visited the bathroom and it was so gross! Horrible smell, the walls need to be cleaned along with the urinals. The area around the sink needs to be scrubbed down and sanitized! Also, I don't think having a stack of chairs impeding the emergency exit door is legal at all! I feel the owners need to spend some money on this restaurant. less

We were in Seattle for a long weekend visiting my niece that's attending Seattle University. My husband looked on Yelp and saw the great reviews! We arrived before 9am and we had 6 people but they seated us anyways! The young man was very friendly and made us feel at home! He took our order and the food came out hot and so tasty! We wanted to order more but we already had leftovers for my niece to take back to her dorm. We asked and the young man was Eric. Kudos to Eric for making us feel welcomed and comfortable! He was nice enough to stop and take pictures our group! My niece went back the next week with 2 of her friends from college! When we come to Seattle again, we'll be sure to come back! less

April 2024 update: Dim sum here hits as always. Miss the traditional carts since pre covid, but ordering via phone is nice getting every thing out at once. For a Sunday, it wasn't as packed as I was preparing for. We got seated fairly quickly. With tough times, come support this local gem! less
